I grew up in Washington State, played every sport from softball, swimming, downhill skiing, track, eventually trying out golf in high school and earning myself a scholarship to play collegiate golf for a small university in Oklahoma State. 2500 miles from home, not knowing a single person, I spent the next five years playing golf, earning a degree in Business Marketing and becoming the first person from my immediate family to graduate college. I wanted to be a personal trainer but the businessman that my father is, advised me to go the business route.
Fast forward a few years, I have worked in fruit sales, banking, tech and here most recently, the real estate industry, as a broker. My passion for fitness has never left me and I love moving my body everyday in some way. I have run a half marathon, just to say that i have, but realized fairly quickly, i am not a runner. I love trying new things, like cross country skiing, snowboarding, hiking, gardening, chicken farming, becoming a health and wellness coach, to name a few. I have worn many hats in my life but my favorites are definitely being a wife, mom to my two boys and my health and wellness coaching.
I love the saying, “Life is a journey, not a destination!” I have definitely been on a personal gut health and mindset journey myself, the past two years, here more recently since July of 23. I was tired of feeling like garbage, tired, bloated, dark eyes, moody, blah, blah, blah. My coach Kat Napolitano invited me to do Gut Protocol and be in the 4 Weeks 4 Everybody Bodcast as her plus one. My life was forever changed by this program and I want to share it with everyone. All while I continue to work daily on my health and most importantly mindset. I am learning to not let fear, insecurities, worry about what others think hold me back and to just live life to the fullest. Life is short and being happy isn't always about being perfect, but about being authentically you.
I live in Eastern Washington State with my Husband, Charles, my two boys, Henry and Remington and my dog Prince and a few chickens, too.
